Account Executive, Platforms (Grower) - German Speaking

About this role

Manage and grow relationships with upper mid-market and enterprise SaaS platforms, helping them use Stripe Connect to make payments a competitive advantage. Own complex consultative sales from prospecting through close, while working with customer executives and Stripe product and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Manage a named account portfolio and develop plans to win and expand platform business
• Build relationships with C-level executives and coordinate executive engagement
• Own the full sales cycle from lead to close
• Lead cross-functional product workshops and financial analyses
• Negotiate bespoke commercial and contractual agreements
• Help shape platform partnership strategy and improve sales processes
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to inform product strategy

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of sales experience with a record of strong performance
• Experience selling technology products or services, ideally at an API-first company
• Track record leading complex, consultative, multi-party sales through close
• Ability to engage technology and finance decision-makers and understand complex technical problems
• Experience negotiating bespoke commercial agreements
• Strong presentation, communication, analytical, and relationship-building skills
• Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced environment
• Strong CRM hygiene and regular sales forecasting experience
