What you'll do
- Own accounting operations and reporting
- Run the month-end close and automate it
- Manage a Senior Accountant and outsourced team
- Prepare for and support external audits
- Apply and maintain technical accounting policies
- Evaluate and optimize accounting systems and workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Conduct flux and variance analysis
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Big 4 audit and startup background preferred
- Knowledge of US GAAP including ASC 606 and ASC 842
- Experience in evaluating and implementing workflows
- Tech-savvy with interest in automation and AI
- Operational mindset and adaptable
Nice to have
- CPA or CMA certification
- Experience with new ERP systems
- Familiarity with SaaS revenue models
- Knowledge of NetSuite and related tools
- Experience with auditing
