Accounts Payable Accounting Manager

About this role

Manage day-to-day accounts payable and travel and expense operations while leading the rollout of Coupa Invoice Smash to automate invoice ingestion. The role also supports close, cash forecasting, vendor onboarding, and process improvement across a distributed team.

Stack

What you'll do

• Lead implementation and optimization of Coupa Invoice Smash and invoice-processing automation
• Manage weekly payment runs, vendor onboarding, and AP inquiries
• Collaborate on cash forecasting for AP payments
• Support month-end close, accruals, fluctuation analysis, and reconciliations
• Partner with the offshore team and help meet deadlines
• Document standard operating procedures and deliver cross-functional training
• Support audits and other finance projects

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
• At least 5 years of accounts payable experience
• Strong understanding of AP processes, internal controls, and general accounting principles
• Strong written, verbal, listening, organizational, and prioritization skills
• Able to adapt in a dynamic, high-growth environment

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Coupa or a similar procure-to-pay system and NetSuite
• Experience with Numeric or Navan
• Hands-on expertise implementing AP automation
