Applied AI Architect, Public Sector (Federal Civilian)

Serve as a pre-sales technical advisor helping U.S. federal civilian agencies adopt Claude. Lead customer discovery, solution architecture, evaluations, and deployment planning, partnering with Sales, Product, and Engineering while emphasizing safe and reliable AI use.

Stack

What you'll do

• Translate agency needs into technical solutions alongside account executives
• Advise customers through discovery, evaluation, and deployment
• Support customers building with Claude Code, the Claude API, and Claude for Enterprise
• Present technical and business-value content to engineering teams and executives
• Guide architecture and enterprise integrations
• Help customers build evaluation frameworks
• Share common integration patterns with Product and Engineering
• Travel to customer sites for workshops and technical sessions

What we're looking for

• Prior experience working with U.S. federal agencies
• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager
• Experience with complex, multi-stakeholder buying cycles
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills across technical and executive audiences
• Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and enterprise integrations
• Familiarity with Python
• Familiarity with LLM tools and frameworks, or a background in machine learning or data science
