The team
Commercial & Marketing Legal team, reporting to the Managing Counsel, Commercial & Marketing Legal.
What you'll do
- Draft, negotiate, and close commercial agreements, including advertising, integrations, commerce, and ad tech deals.
- Negotiate IP licenses for digital collectibles and in-app content.
- Advise on sponsorships and marketing initiatives.
- Structure monetization models such as virtual currency, subscriptions, rewards, and revenue sharing.
- Support payment processor, gift card, app store, and developer program agreements.
- Develop scalable templates, playbooks, and self-serve processes.
What we're looking for
- JD and active good-standing membership in at least one U.S. state bar; eligible to register as in-house counsel in California.
- At least 4 years of commercial transactional experience.
- Experience negotiating complex technology, platform integration, and revenue partnership agreements.
- Knowledge of advertising, gaming, digital media, data privacy, and consumer internet.
- Ability to manage a high-volume workload and provide practical advice in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Nice to have
- Experience with payments, virtual currency, subscriptions, or bundling.
- Experience with international or APAC counterparties.
