What you'll do
- Design and implement Bridge’s security roadmap.
- Identify and address the most important security risks.
- Threat-model and harden money movement systems with crypto and infrastructure teams.
- Build monitoring, secrets management, incident response, access controls, and CI/CD security capabilities.
- Strengthen secure development and infrastructure practices.
- Support compliance and audit readiness as Bridge expands into regulated markets.
- Partner with engineering, product, and Stripe security teams.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of security engineering experience.
- Experience building or scaling security programs at a startup or in an embedded role.
Nice to have
- Experience establishing security practices in a fast-paced startup.
- Ability to write and debug backend code; Ruby experience is preferred.
- Pragmatic prioritization and comfort with ambiguity.
- Ability to balance security rigor with delivery speed.
