What you'll do
- Plan and perform monthly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Recommend and implement scalable accounting processes.
- Partner with business and finance teams to understand new products.
- Improve financial systems and automate accounting processes.
- Assess internal controls and design processes for new business activities.
- Analyze financial results to identify anomalies.
- Support external audit processes.
What we're looking for
- 7+ years of relevant public accounting and/or industry experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Professional accountancy qualification (CA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
- Experience with monthly close processes and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to structure ambiguous work and build systems.
Nice to have
- Experience in the technology or payments industry.
- Experience in accounting for cryptocurrencies.
- Familiarity with Oracle Suite.
- Proficiency in SQL.
