Business Systems Architect

About this role

Architect and improve Figma’s financial systems, with a focus on Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition. The role combines NetSuite expertise, accounting process knowledge, and cross-functional delivery to automate workflows and support the company’s growth.

Stack

What you'll do

• Review and maintain architecture for Order-to-Cash systems and processes
• Identify configuration, integration, and process improvements for Order-to-Cash and Revenue Recognition
• Align cross-functional teams on ERP requirements and goals
• Design and implement solutions that improve automation, reduce risk, and scale
• Mentor junior team members and participate in recruiting
• Troubleshoot financial systems outside the Order-to-Cash workstream
• Provide NetSuite subject-matter expertise, end-user training, and system support

What we're looking for

• 7+ years working with accounting teams in a fast-growing environment
• Strong NetSuite administration experience, including leading a major implementation or rollout
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes
• Experience supporting ancillary accounting systems
• Ability to work across business analysis, project management, and technical systems analysis
• Interest in helping teams scale through technology

Nice to have

• Systems implementation or integration consulting experience
• Experience supporting Stripe, Avalara, or Tesorio
