What you'll do

• Negotiate a high volume of agreements for hardware and components
• Structure and negotiate complex technology, data, and partnership agreements
• Track legal and regulatory changes affecting hardware products
• Identify trade and supply chain concerns in sourcing
• Build self-serve guidance and AI-assisted review tools
• Manage outside counsel for specialist questions
• Cover other technology or hardware transactions as needed

What we're looking for

• JD and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Experience buying hardware, components, and software in high volume
• Deep experience leading complex deals
• Knowledge of international supply chains and associated risks
• Understanding of trade and regulatory compliance for hardware
• Clear communication with technical teams
• Low-ego, proactive attitude towards work

Nice to have

• At least 8 years of legal experience in hardware or related fields
• In-house experience at a scaling hardware-intensive company
• Experience supporting product or engineering teams
• Technical background or engineering experience
• Experience using AI tools for legal work
