Lead financial due diligence and transaction modeling for Anthropic’s M&A and strategic deals. Assess target performance and deal assumptions, forecast the impact on Anthropic’s financial plan, and present recommendations to Finance leadership. Build repeatable deal processes and use Claude to improve the rigor and pace of the work.

What you'll do

• Lead financial due diligence on M&A and strategic transactions
• Build deal models and pro forma forecasts, and evaluate deal economics and structuring options
• Translate transaction impacts into Anthropic’s forecast and plan
• Present analysis and recommendations to Finance leadership
• Create repeatable templates, playbooks, and processes for deal work

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of experience in M&A-related roles
• Hands-on acquisition modeling and pro forma forecasting experience, including three-statement transaction impacts
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and ability to build trust
• Clear, proactive communication and experience presenting to Finance leadership
• Comfort navigating ambiguity in fast-paced environments
• Track record of building processes, templates, and playbooks
• Passion for building safe, beneficial AI

Nice to have

• MBA, CFA, or CPA
• Experience on both the investing or advisory side and the operating side of transactions
• Public-company M&A experience and understanding of downstream reporting impacts
• Experience using Claude or similar AI tools to improve work quality and efficiency
