CX Business Intelligence Analyst

About this role

Own the data foundations and analysis that support Gusto’s Customer Experience operations. Build reliable pipelines, models, dashboards, and monitoring, then use statistical methods and AI-assisted analysis to answer questions about customer outcomes and inform CX strategy.

What you'll do

• Partner with CX leaders and data teams to scope priorities and deliver high-impact analysis.
• Build and maintain CX data pipelines, models, dashboards, and data-quality monitoring.
• Apply statistical analysis and AI-driven anomaly detection to identify opportunities and diagnose performance issues.
• Establish data integrity, governance, and validation practices for analytics and AI-assisted outputs.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders and mentor data practitioners.

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or data governance.
• Strong SQL and Python skills for analyzing large datasets.
• Experience with data modeling, schema design, data quality, cloud platforms, and ETL workflows.
• Experience governing AI-assisted analytics, including validation, source-of-truth audits, and human review standards.
• Clear communication and ability to independently manage priorities and projects.
• Frequent practical use of AI in analytics workflows, with understanding of when human verification is essential.
