What you'll do
- Lead on-site operations and coordinate deployment activities during the data center launch
- Plan and oversee server and network installation, including racks, power distribution, cabling, and hardware placement
- Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation plans with remote teams
- Diagnose infrastructure issues across hardware, power, cooling, networking, and system configurations
- Coordinate facility staff, vendors, and warranty providers, escalating issues that affect launch timelines
- Maintain site documentation, inventory, readiness reports, and spare-parts plans
- Support knowledge transfer and handoff to additional site staff
What we're looking for
- 5+ years of hands-on data center infrastructure experience with responsibility beyond task execution
- Working knowledge of server hardware, network equipment, power, cooling, and cross-connects
- Ability to assess operational risks and make decisions independently within defined escalation frameworks
- Experience coordinating vendors, facility providers, and technical teams
- Strong documentation, organization, and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with GPU-based or high-density infrastructure
- Colocation and cloud or hybrid environment experience
- Knowledge of sustainability and energy-efficiency practices
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, Jira, and Confluence
