About this role
Lead the direction and delivery of LI.FI’s Data team, balancing hands-on analytics with product prioritization and people leadership. Report to the CTO and partner with the Data Tech Lead, who owns the technical and infrastructure side, to shape the team roadmap.

What you'll do
- Own team priorities, intake, triage, and planning rituals
- Deliver analyses, dashboards, business cases, and recommendations to inform company decisions
- Partner with Product Managers to define tracking and success metrics
- Translate stakeholder questions into specifications, metric definitions, and acceptance criteria
- Review analyses, dashboards, and datasets for quality
- Coach and develop Data team members
- Co-own the data roadmap with the Data Tech Lead
What we're looking for
- 6+ years in data analytics, analytics engineering, or data product work, with experience leading people or setting team priorities
- Expert SQL skills and ability to independently validate and challenge data
- Hands-on experience with BI dashboards and reporting
- Strong business and product mindset, including identifying revenue, pricing, or growth opportunities
- Technical fluency in data warehouses, pipelines, data models, and trade-offs
- Strong stakeholder management and communication across business and technical teams
- Crypto/DeFi experience or demonstrable knowledge of the space
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment

- Python
- dbt and dimensional modelling
- Semantic layer design and metric definition management
- Preparing data and documentation for LLMs and agents
- ML modelling, such as forecasting, classification, or anomaly detection
- On-chain data tools such as Dune Analytics
- Streaming data experience such as Kafka
