Data/Reporting Team Lead

Lead and contribute hands-on to the data and reporting platform behind customer-facing retail intelligence. Own data accuracy, reliability, performance, and cost while building systems that turn large volumes of store signals into trusted reports and APIs.

Stack

What you'll do

• Lead a small senior data/reporting team while contributing to pipelines
• Own the accuracy and reliability of customer-facing imports, reports, dashboards, and exports
• Build CDC pipelines, DBT transformations, and silver/gold data layers served through APIs
• Develop reconciliation, drift-detection, and point-in-time reconstruction tooling
• Optimize compute costs and query performance
• Set technical standards, plan work, review code, and mentor team members
• Coordinate with backend, analytics, and customer-facing teams

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of software or data engineering experience, including production data-system ownership
• Strong Python and advanced SQL skills
• Experience with a modern cloud data warehouse and transformation framework such as Snowflake and DBT
• Experience with CDC or streaming pipelines and data-intensive applications
• Production data-correctness experience, including reconciliation and validation
• Breadth across data, infrastructure, and backend engineering
• Technical leadership experience
• Fluent Polish and advanced written and spoken English

Nice to have

• CI/CD, Docker, and cloud deployment experience
• Compute or cost optimization and warehouse performance tuning
• BI or embedded analytics experience, such as Sigma
