Developer Success Engineer

About this role

Combine hands-on engineering with developer support to help customers use Inngest successfully. You’ll troubleshoot technical issues, advise on architecture, and share user feedback with product and engineering teams.

What you'll do

• Provide developer support, implementation troubleshooting, and architectural guidance.
• Represent customer needs in product planning and help prioritize improvements.
• Document and investigate bugs with engineering teams.
• Contribute to internal and public documentation, use cases, and examples.
• Support sales-led proofs of concept.
• Build or improve tools and integrations for support workflows.

What we're looking for

• Expertise in TypeScript development and willingness to learn other languages.
• Knowledge of queueing systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly understand and debug complex technical issues.
• Experience helping other developers succeed.
• Empathy for developers and commitment to a great developer experience.
