What you'll do
- Own the analytics architecture across the warehouse, transformation layer, and BI tools.
- Set BI tooling strategy and evaluate build, buy, migration, and scaling options.
- Lead, hire, and develop analysts and analytics engineers.
- Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Engineering to define metrics and deliver self-serve reporting.
- Establish dbt modeling standards, testing, and data governance.
- Manage warehouse and BI access controls for sensitive data.
- Build executive reporting on product availability, store performance, and inventory accuracy.
What we're looking for
- 8+ years of analytics experience, including at least 3 years leading or managing a team.
- Advanced hands-on SQL, including complex queries and optimization.
- Experience operating a cloud data warehouse; Snowflake is preferred.
- Hands-on dbt or comparable transformation-layer experience.
- Track record evaluating, migrating, or scaling BI tools and explaining tradeoffs.
- Experience turning messy operational data into decisions executives act on.
- Strong written and verbal communication and cross-functional influence.
- Comfort working remotely with a distributed team.

- Experience with IoT, sensor, or computer-vision data.
- Python for analytics engineering or pipeline work.
- Experience scaling analytics at a growth-stage startup.
