What you'll do
- Lead, coach, recruit, and develop engineers on the Admin Experience team.
- Shape the roadmap with Product and cross-functional partners.
- Guide backend architecture, APIs, data models, and authorization boundaries.
- Balance feature delivery with production support, on-call duties, and platform health.
- Set expectations for testing, safe releases, observability, documentation, and operational readiness.
What we're looking for
- Experience leading engineers delivering production backend services or SaaS platform capabilities.
- Strong grounding in backend architecture, APIs, data modeling, and production operations.
- Experience with identity and access control, multi-tenant systems, account hierarchies, or similar administration capabilities.
- Experience hiring, onboarding, coaching, and developing engineers.
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, API design, cloud-hosted services, containers, testing, and observability.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
Nice to have
- Experience with RBAC, SSO, audit logs, delegated administration, or customer-facing admin consoles.
- Experience in cybersecurity or technically complex customer-facing SaaS.
