What you'll do

• Lead and grow a team of engineers building full-stack internal tools
• Partner with teams to understand workflows and improve productivity
• Set technical direction and prioritize roadmap initiatives
• Foster a culture of rapid iteration and user feedback
• Champion best practices in API design and security
• Monitor system reliability and operational excellence
• Own incident response processes
• Hire, develop, and retain engineering talent

What we're looking for

• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years in an engineering management role
• Experience building and shipping production full-stack software
• Strong technical judgment across modern web development
• Ability to translate user needs into technical direction
• Empathetic communication with stakeholders
• Experience with scalable internal applications and platforms

Nice to have

• Experience building engineering roadmaps
• Track record of developing engineers through mentoring
• Balancing trade-offs across security and user experience
• Experience with Identity and Access Management
