What you'll do
- Lead, staff, and hire for a team of five or more data and analytics engineers.
- Own high-impact data projects from planning through delivery.
- Set the team’s technical roadmap and contribute to product roadmaps and OKRs.
- Mentor team members and support their growth and development.
- Improve release quality through code reviews, end-to-end tests, and sustainable development practices.
- Write design documents and contribute hands-on to complex technical work.
What we're looking for
- At least five years of data or analytics engineering experience and two years of people leadership.
- At least five years building production data pipelines and warehouse models, with strong SQL and working dbt proficiency.
- Experience owning financial data used by Accounting, such as general ledger feeds, reconciliations, month-end close, audit support, or payment processing.
- Deep experience in database design, warehouse modeling, scheduling, and orchestration.
- Ability to turn ambiguous stakeholder requests into scoped plans and communicate clearly with accountants and engineers.
