Engineering Manager - Grafana Application Security

What you'll do

• Lead application security team covering various security areas
• Manage vulnerability disclosures with external parties
• Define and implement the engineering strategy aligned with security goals
• Conduct regular coaching and mentoring sessions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product strategy and roadmaps
• Engage in significant incident preparation and response
• Review design documents for upcoming projects

What we're looking for

• Experience managing a security engineering team
• Strong engineering background for technical discussions
• Ability to work with autonomous engineering teams
• Up-to-date with technical trends and security challenges
• DevOps mindset focusing on automation and security enablement
• Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, GCP, Azure) and securing OSS products
• Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences

Nice to have

• Technical background in programming or software engineering
• Knowledge of Grafana Labs OSS projects
• Experience using observability tools for security
• Experience in securing large-scale distributed systems
