Fraud & Risk Operations Lead

Lead fraud detection and response for Trustly’s North American payment operations. Investigate emerging fraud patterns, deploy short-term rules, coordinate longer-term improvements with analytics teams, and support compliance reporting and collections.

What you'll do

• Investigate fraud alerts and transaction activity, and document attack patterns
• Write, backtest, deploy, and monitor short-term fraud rules
• Coordinate emerging-pattern handoffs to Risk & Fraud Analytics and Data Science
• Automate detection and investigation work, including with AI tools
• Support compliance reporting, AML alert reviews, and suspicious activity report evidence
• Support collections reviews, submissions, and payment reconciliation
• Mentor analysts and review their cases and rules
• Track and report fraud detection, mitigation, and savings KPIs

What we're looking for

• Experience leading adoption or change programs through a distributed champion network
• Experience building or restructuring a company-wide taxonomy or knowledge base
• Experience selecting and implementing a knowledge management or content platform
• Ability to establish governance standards and drive cross-team compliance
• Experience migrating content from scattered tools into a centralized system

Nice to have

• Experience preparing content for AI retrieval, including metadata or structured tagging
• Background in information architecture, technical writing, or content strategy
• Familiarity with Claude or similar AI assistants and connected knowledge sources
