What you'll do
- Design and deliver custody solutions with product, architecture, and DevOps partners.
- Build backend microservices for custody, staking, and wallet services.
- Integrate blockchain networks and external systems for asset movements, transactions, and key management.
- Contribute to React and Next.js applications.
- Develop Kafka-based event-driven systems.
- Design and optimize data models, APIs, and distributed architectures.
- Own services from RFC and design through deployment and maintenance; participate in reviews and mentor engineers.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years building backend or fullstack systems in high-scale, high-availability environments.
- Expert Node.js and TypeScript skills; experience with NestJS or a similar framework.
- Understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and CQRS/DDD.
- Experience designing REST APIs and asynchronous event-based systems.
- Strong SQL database and schema-design experience.
- Solid React knowledge, including state management and modern frontend practices.
- Experience with Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Docker, CI/CD, and observability tools such as Prometheus or Splunk.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in distributed teams.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of crypto protocols, staking, or blockchain.
- Experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers.
- Rust experience.
- Experience in financial systems, digital assets, custody, or regulated environments.
