Head of Finance - Cyprus

What you'll do

• Draft and enhance financial compliance policies and procedures
• Prepare and maintain key financial metrics
• Compile financial regulatory reports
• Assist with Audited Annual Financial Statements
• Oversee financial policies and internal controls
• Respond to finance-related regulatory requests
• Oversee monthly and quarterly financial closings
• Support Compliance and Regulatory Legal departments

What we're looking for

• Expert level in financial analysis and reporting tools
• Strong understanding of financial regulatory requirements
• 12-15 years of experience in a similar role
• 3-5 years in a fintech/relevant industry
• Experience with MiFID II regulatory requirements
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Experience with financial reconciliations

Nice to have

• Relevant degree in Finance or Accounting
• Experience in cryptocurrency or fintech industry
• Familiarity with MiFID II processes
• Prior experience in relation to virtual asset services regulation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
