What you'll do
- Operate production environments on AWS ECS Fargate and ClickHouse Cloud, including deployments, autoscaling, capacity planning, and cost optimization.
- Own Datadog dashboards, alerts, and SLOs.
- Maintain and improve the Helm chart, Docker Compose setup, and self-hosted deployment documentation.
- Automate CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and zero-downtime deployments.
- Plan infrastructure for future growth and new product requirements.
- Improve security and compliance across cloud and self-hosted deployments.
What we're looking for
- Production infrastructure experience with AWS or comparable cloud providers.
- Comfort with container orchestration, Kubernetes and/or ECS, Helm, and Docker.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Strong monitoring and observability skills.
- Able to organize work and ship infrastructure changes safely.
- Interest in open-source software and helping users troubleshoot self-hosted deployments.
- Comfort working in a small, accountable team.
Nice to have
- Experience with ClickHouse Cloud or other managed analytical databases.
- Experience operating high-throughput event processing or observability infrastructure.
- Open-source contributions to infrastructure tooling.
- Former founder.
- CS or quantitative degree.
