Lead Analytics Engineer - Finance Data (FinOps)

The team

Small central data team, reporting to the Head of Central Data and partnering primarily with Finance.

What you'll do

• Partner with Treasury, Reconciliation and Accounting on processes and priorities.
• Build trusted treasury data products for positions, cash flows and liquidity.
• Scale reconciliation workflows for matching, breaks and exceptions.
• Support accounting close and daily work with data, checks and integrations.
• Design Finance data models, metrics, tests, lineage and documentation.
• Set Finance data quality standards and integrate Finance systems.
• Introduce automation and agents to reduce recurring manual work.
• Own the long-term data roadmap for treasury, reconciliation and accounting.

What we're looking for

• Experience working in or closely with Finance, especially treasury, reconciliation, accounting or FP&A.
• Understanding of financial close, cash and liquidity, reconciliations and Finance reporting.
• Expert SQL and strong dimensional or semantic data modelling skills.
• Experience building data products and metrics used by other teams.
• ETL and data warehouse or lakehouse experience, including end-to-end source onboarding.
• Prioritize precision and connect solutions to business value.
