What you'll do
- Own securities and public company reporting matters
- Advise on corporate governance and compliance requirements
- Provide legal guidance on corporate entity matters
- Support M&A and strategic transactions
- Engage and manage outside counsel
- Identify legal risks and present options to stakeholders
- Build and improve legal resources like playbooks and templates
- Train junior legal team members and partners
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of legal experience with public companies
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and state bar admission
- Ability to manage complex legal matters independently
- Strong communication skills for non-legal audiences
- Experience with improving legal processes
- Ability to collaborate in a remote team environment
Nice to have
- In-house experience at public SaaS or software companies
- Experience with cross-border corporate matters
- Familiarity with legal tech for scaling legal work
