About this role

Own capital markets and pricing products for Pylon’s vertically integrated mortgage platform, from borrower-facing rates and eligibility to loan execution in the secondary market. Build data-driven pricing and automation capabilities, develop differentiated loan products, and help the company improve pricing, execution, and risk management.

About the company

Pylon is a B2B customer support and success platform built for SaaS teams. It helps companies manage customer conversations, SLAs, and account workflows in one place.

What you'll do

  • Set capital markets and pricing strategy and align product, engineering, and capital markets teams.
  • Own the roadmap for pricing, eligibility, rate locks, and secondary execution.
  • Build pricing models and automate best execution across investors and loan buyers.
  • Write and ship code for pricing models, analysis, and the production pricing engine.
  • Develop differentiated loan products with investors and capital partners.
  • Build real-time pricing APIs and integrations for commitments, loan delivery, and sales.
  • Improve costs and reduce lifecycle leakage, including fallout, lock extensions, exceptions, and repurchase risk.
  • Support hedging, pipeline risk, warehouse capacity, compliance, and pricing performance measurement.

What we're looking for

  • At least 4 years in product management or a quantitative role such as quant research, trading, or pricing.
  • Strong quantitative skills; experience building pricing or risk models using market data.
  • Fluent in SQL and Python.
  • Experience owning and scaling pricing, marketplace, payments, or other economically sensitive products.
  • Able to write code and contribute to a production codebase.
  • Experience building 0-to-1 products in a regulated industry.
  • Willing to learn mortgage capital markets and relocate to or live in New York City or Palo Alto.

Nice to have

  • Experience in mortgage capital markets, secondary marketing, pricing engines, or launching loan products.
