What you'll do
- Maintain monorepo tooling, build pipelines, and package management systems
- Lead repository-wide modernization initiatives and coordinate across teams
- Maintain the team’s technical roadmap and evaluate platform dependencies and technologies
- Unblock and support engineers, align technical direction across teams, and represent the team in technical discussions
- Model thorough code reviews and occasionally review community bug fixes
What we're looking for
- 8–10 years of experience with web application build and packaging pipelines
- Strong experience managing Nx, Webpack, Vite, npm, and pnpm
- Experience developing for Electron and browser extensions, including their APIs and constraints
- Platform team experience supporting other teams as customers
- Experience using AI tools in development and testing workflows
- Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and long-term technical planning skills
Nice to have
- Experience with Anthropic Claude
- Enthusiasm for open source and internet security
