  • Lead delivery by breaking down work, reviewing designs, and unblocking two SREs.
  • Automate customer-instance provisioning, upgrades, scaling, backups, migration, and decommissioning.
  • Own fleet-wide releases, progressive rollouts, rollback, and upgrade safety.
  • Build observability and lead on-call, incident response, and blameless postmortems.
  • Plan capacity, improve GCP cost efficiency, and harden platform security.
  • Work with core engineering to address product changes needed for reliable cloud operations.

  • Production-grade Kubernetes expertise operating fleets of clusters.
  • Strong GCP experience, including GKE, IAM, networking, and managed data services.
  • Expertise designing Terraform modules and state layouts for many customer environments.
  • Ability to write architecture specifications, explain trade-offs, and coordinate delivery.
  • On-call and incident-response experience, including postmortems and durable fixes.

  • Fluent English and ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience sandboxing workloads that execute untrusted or user-defined code.
  • Experience building a control plane for per-customer environments.
  • GCP FinOps experience, including cost attribution and committed-use or spot capacity.
  • Infrastructure experience with SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits.
  • Familiarity with workflow orchestration platforms or the JVM in production.

Benefits

  • Work remotely from anywhere, with access to coworking spaces worldwide.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Home-office equipment provided.
