What you'll do

  • Manage Gusto's money transmitter and state financial services licenses.
  • Oversee the NMLS company record and annual renewal cycles.
  • Prepare and file new license applications and amendments.
  • Manage the quarterly NMLS MSB Call Report and state periodic reports.
  • Serve as a key contributor on state examinations.

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or similar.
  • 3 years managing money transmission licenses.
  • Hands-on NMLS expertise including MU1, MU2, and MU3 filings.
  • Experience with regulatory examinations and request list management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PEO licensing.
  • Paralegal background.
  • Familiarity with CSBS multi-state examination frameworks.
