Lifecycle Growth Manager

About this role

Own lifecycle growth for products including Grok, Grok Bot, X, Cursor, and the API, from activation and paid conversion through retention and expansion. Build and optimize data-driven lifecycle programs, in-product messaging, and experiments to drive measurable revenue and engagement.

What you'll do

• Set lifecycle strategy and roadmap across activation, conversion, expansion, retention, and winback.
• Build audience segments, triggers, and multi-step journeys across email, push, and in-app channels.
• Improve lifecycle data models and partner with engineering on warehouse syncs, APIs, and webhooks.
• Measure incremental impact using experiments and holdouts, and manage programs as a portfolio.
• Own in-product messaging and experiments with product and engineering.
• Build internal tools, templates, and automated QA using code and AI agents.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years in Lifecycle, Growth PMM, or Product Growth at a high-growth product company.
• Experience across consumer and business products, self-serve and sales-led motions.
• Strong SQL and understanding of event data, identity, attributes, APIs, webhooks, and warehouse syncs.
• Hands-on experience with a lifecycle platform such as Braze, Customer.io, or Iterable.
• Track record building lifecycle systems with engineering and demonstrating revenue, paid-user, or retention impact.
• Experience with experimentation, in-product messaging, and cross-functional leadership.

• Coding experience.
• Experience using AI agents and code to increase productivity.
