What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a small technical team while contributing hands-on to engineering and research
- Set technical direction and guide execution of ambiguous problems
- Build agent monitoring, guardrails, and evaluation capabilities
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model fine-tuning
- Partner with Product and Research to translate research into product features
- Deliver production-ready code and scalable, reliable software
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with exposure to AI/ML
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, software engineering, or AI security
- Strong Python programming skills and experience with relevant ML or agentic frameworks
- Cross-functional collaboration and end-to-end ownership delivering real-world outcomes
- Ability to learn additional languages and technologies as needed
Nice to have
- PhD in Computer Science or a related field focused on AI/ML
- Experience with agent orchestration, agent harnesses, agent teams, prompt injection, red teaming, data poisoning, evasion attacks, secure deployment, sandboxing, or AI misuse monitoring
- Open-source contributions
- Experience in a fast-paced startup
