What you'll do

• Lead and mentor a small technical team while contributing hands-on engineering and research
• Set technical direction and drive practical, high-quality execution
• Build agent monitoring, guardrailing, and evaluation capabilities
• Perform ML work such as exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model fine-tuning
• Partner with Product and Research to turn AI research into product features
• Deliver production-ready designs and scalable, reliable software

What we're looking for

• BSc in Computer Science or a related field, with exposure to AI/ML
• Expertise in AI/ML, software engineering, or AI security
• Strong Python programming skills and experience with relevant ML or agentic frameworks
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and end-to-end ownership
• Ability to learn additional languages and technologies as needed

Nice to have

• PhD focused on AI/ML or a related field
• Experience with agent orchestration, red teaming, prompt injection, data poisoning, secure deployment, or AI misuse monitoring
• Open-source contributions
• Experience in a fast-paced startup
• Cybersecurity experience
