What you'll do
- Lead and mentor a small technical team while contributing hands-on engineering and research.
- Set technical direction and guide execution on ambiguous problems.
- Build frameworks for agent monitoring, guardrails, and evaluation.
- Perform exploratory data analysis, feature engineering, and model fine-tuning.
- Translate AI research into product features with Product and Research teams.
- Deliver production-ready code and scalable, reliable software.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with exposure to AI/ML.
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, software engineering, or AI security.
- Strong Python skills and experience with relevant ML or agentic frameworks.
- Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration and end-to-end ownership.
- Ability to learn new languages and technologies to deliver reliable software.
Nice to have
- PhD focused on AI/ML or a related field.
- Experience with agent orchestration, agent teams, prompt injection, red teaming, data poisoning, secure deployment, sandboxing, or AI misuse monitoring.
- Open-source contributions.
- Experience in a fast-paced startup.
