What you'll do

• Lead and grow a team of Applied AI Architects
• Drive team performance with goal-setting and coaching
• Lead pre-sales engagements with high-priority startups
• Build and manage technical playbooks
• Partner with sales teams to drive API adoption
• Gather insights on startup use of Claude
• Influence cross-functional teams to meet customer needs
• Build presence in the startup ecosystem

What we're looking for

• 8+ years in technical customer-facing roles
• 5+ years in leadership/management positions
• Experience with startups or high-growth tech companies
• Builder credibility with LLM-powered applications
• Hands-on expertise in context engineering and AI architectures
• Comfortable with Python and LLM frameworks
• Ability to thrive in ambiguous environments
• Passion for making technology safe and beneficial

Nice to have

• Experience as a technical founder
• Track record of winning competitive evaluations
• Experience building team infrastructure
• Familiarity with developer infrastructure from seed to Series B
• Visible technical presence in the AI community
