What you'll do
- Build and lead the Production Site Reliability Engineering team
- Own the availability and operability of the production web stack
- Lead incident response and drive postmortems
- Manage configuration for the production environment
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure readiness of new services
- Drive control plane re-architecture and scaling strategies
- Establish monitoring and observability
- Foster a culture of operational excellence
What we're looking for
- 10+ years in site reliability engineering or infrastructure operations
- Experience operating production web stacks at scale
- Strong Linux systems knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Track record of building monitoring and alerting systems
- Experience with configuration management at scale
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience hiring and building engineering teams
- Understanding of database replication and failure modes
Nice to have
- Experience with Harvester or similar HCI platforms
- Experience with Redis cluster architecture and performance tuning
- Knowledge of HAProxy configuration and load balancing strategies
- Experience with PCI compliance environments
- Familiarity with PHP
