The team
Design Systems Adherence team, a group of 6–8 engineers.
What you'll do
- Lead and grow a team of 6–8 engineers, providing coaching and career development.
- Make design-system guidelines, examples, and documentation useful context for AI.
- Set strategy for adherence datasets, quality rubrics, evaluators, and regression checks.
- Build benchmarks, tools, and dashboards to measure adherence, visual quality, latency, and cost.
- Partner with Product, Design, and AI Research to deliver business impact.
What we're looking for
- At least 3 years leading and growing high-impact engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience building AI assistants and evaluation systems using modern large language models.
- Fluency in AI development and evaluation workflows, including context management, dataset curation, benchmarking, and regression testing.
- Strong software engineering foundation and a platform mindset.
- Ability to set technical direction, maintain high quality standards, and align cross-functional partners.
Nice to have
- Understanding of design systems, including components, tokens, usage guidelines, and design-to-code integration.
- Experience creating evaluation and customer feedback loops for AI products.
- Experience benchmarking AI output quality, latency, and cost.
- Experience building shared evaluation tools, curated datasets, or quality dashboards.
