Manager, Software Engineering - UX Platform

Lead an experienced engineering team building features that connect Figma’s products and improve workflows in the design editor. Partner with product, design, data science, and engineering leaders to set strategy and deliver high-quality experiences, including Agent-driven workflows.

What you'll do

• Manage and support experienced engineers building cross-product features
• Champion an inclusive, high-velocity engineering culture and technical excellence
• Partner with product, design, and engineering leadership to set strategy and priorities
• Invest in team culture, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration

What we're looking for

• 2+ years of engineering management experience leading a high-output team
• 6+ years of frontend or full-stack engineering experience
• Track record of motivating, mentoring, and guiding senior engineers
• Experience building roadmaps with product, design, and data-science partners
• Ability to balance technical quality work with feature development
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Experience shipping cross-product features and tools at high velocity
