Payments F&S Specialist

Drive financial insight and strategy for Stripe’s payments business by partnering with Finance & Strategy and business leaders. Build forecasts, track performance, analyze variances, and develop metrics and dashboards to inform decisions across regions and user segments.

What you'll do

• Partner with Finance & Strategy and business leaders on long-term business outcomes
• Use data to answer cross-functional strategy questions
• Build financial forecasts and targets, track performance, and analyze variances from actuals
• Assess performance across geographies and user segments
• Define performance metrics and partner with Analytics to build accessible dashboards

What we're looking for

• 7–14 years of relevant finance or analytical experience
• Intermediate or advanced SQL or Python skills, including analysis of large, complex datasets
• Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budget-versus-actual variance analysis
• Ability to independently solve ambiguous problems and drive projects
• Ability to automate recurring analysis and use AI to improve workflows
• Experience building dashboards and data visualization tools from scratch
• Strong stakeholder collaboration and trusted-advisor skills
• Self-starter with a hands-on approach and experience working globally

Nice to have

• Strategic finance experience at a high-growth technology company, ideally in payments or fintech
