People Partner, Finance

About this role

Serve as a strategic People Partner to Stripe’s Finance organization, partnering with the CFO and Finance leadership on people strategy. Help leaders build healthy, high-impact teams and plan for organizational growth, change, and future talent needs.

The team

Finance organization, within People Functions.

What you'll do

• Align people strategy with Finance’s business priorities and talent needs
• Advise leaders on organizational design, change management, and team effectiveness
• Use people data and insights to inform organizational strategy and programs
• Support global talent and organizational planning
• Partner on succession planning and retention of critical Finance talent
• Collaborate with People teams to deliver programs for Finance
• Coach leaders and promote a culture of high standards and collaboration

What we're looking for

• 15+ years of experience in People Partnering or an equivalent business-partnering role
• Experience influencing executive and senior leaders on people strategy and organizational effectiveness
• Strong analytical and project-management skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence diverse groups and experience levels
• Sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information

Nice to have

• Experience supporting a Finance organization and understanding its talent markets, career paths, and leadership needs
• Experience in both fast-growing technology companies and established organizations
• Experience supporting global organizations
