People Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Build, test and maintain system automations and integrations
• Develop integrations using Workday Web Services and Slack’s API
• Write clean automation code using Ruby or similar languages
• Monitor integration health and troubleshoot failures
• Ship changes through CI/CD pipelines
• Use AI tools and frameworks daily
• Solve problems and build scalable solutions
• Collaborate with different tech and security teams

What we're looking for

• Experience with automations or integrations in HR systems
• Proficiency in Ruby or a comparable scripting language
• Experience with Workato or similar integration platforms
• Familiarity with APIs and web services
• Proficiency with Git for version control
• AI-forward mindset and usage of AI tools
• Ability to work independently and solve problems
• Protect confidential information and ensure code quality

Nice to have

• Experience with Workday integrations and Slack apps
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform or AWS
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
• Building with large language models
• Understanding SOX ITGC controls
• Experience with Greenhouse or Serval
• Knowledge of asynchronous work
