Premium Cash Officer

Manage cash and e-float liquidity at a premium mobile money outlet, serving customers and rebalancing agents. The role oversees safe access, cash reconciliation, treasury records, cash-in-transit coordination, and resolution of outlet issues.

What you'll do

• Control access to the safe and manage cash transfers between the safe and premium agent accounts
• Count cash and reconcile premium agent outlets daily
• Record cash-management transactions accurately in the treasury system
• Request funds from head office to prevent service disruptions
• Coordinate receipt and dispatch of cash with the Cash In Transit team
• Ensure compliance with cash-management policies and escalate outlet issues
• Track agent liquidity and resolve liquidity issues
• Assist agents and customers with accounts, Wave services, the app, and physical cards

What we're looking for

• Strong proficiency in English; knowledge of local Malawian languages is a plus
• At least 2 years of experience in teller, cashier, cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, cash handling or delivery, or a similar role
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, banking, or a related discipline
• Work authorization in Malawi
• Strong organization, prioritization, customer service, communication, and attention to detail
• High integrity and ability to work independently and collaboratively
