What you'll do
- Design, build, and ship customer solutions from prototype through production rollout.
- Integrate Docker’s AI platform with customer identity, secrets, registry, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and observability systems.
- Help customers establish security, compliance, and governance controls for agentic AI workloads.
- Translate customer implementation learnings into reusable patterns and product feedback.
- Set FDE delivery standards, mentor engineers, and handle senior technical escalations.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in a customer-facing technical role.
- Expert production coding skills in Go, Python, or TypeScript.
- Deep hands-on Docker expertise, including Dockerfiles, Compose, registries, networking, storage, and container security.
- Production experience building with LLMs and agents, including MCP, tool use, prompt engineering, and evaluation.
- Experience with software supply chain security and enterprise identity, secrets, Kubernetes, and a major cloud platform.
- Demonstrated technical leadership, mentorship, and ability to deliver in ambiguous customer environments.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites up to 50%.
Nice to have
- Experience with Docker Hardened Images, Docker Scout, MCP Gateway, MCP Toolkit, Docker Sandboxes, or Docker Model Runner.
- Experience deploying coding agents in team or enterprise settings.
- Experience in air-gapped, regulated, or compliance-driven environments.
- Open-source contributions in container, Kubernetes, or MCP ecosystems.
- Experience founding or scaling an FDE or Professional Services practice.
