What you'll do
- Own the credit platform roadmap, aligning priorities with customer needs, business goals, and regulatory requirements.
- Define product requirements and technical documentation for backend services, APIs, and data models.
- Lead cross-functional execution across engineering, go-to-market, operations, legal, compliance, and risk.
- Partner with engineering leaders on architecture decisions for account management, transaction processing, and data integrity.
- Engage customers and external partners to validate needs and deliver measurable value.
- Use product analytics to identify gaps and evaluate feature impact.
- Represent Marqeta’s credit platform with enterprise clients, issuing banks, and networks.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of product management experience in fintech or payments.
- Leadership experience working with payment networks and banks.
- Track record shipping technically complex credit products or platforms at scale in regulated environments.
- Deep technical fluency with APIs, data models, system architecture, and emerging technologies.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience building or scaling credit-as-a-service or embedded credit products for enterprise clients or card program managers.
