What you'll do

  • Set the catalysis product vision and roadmap, balancing program deliverables, scientific depth, and commercial growth.
  • Translate customer insights and program objectives into product requirements, milestones, and evidence packages.
  • Partner with scientific and machine-learning teams to define datasets, model requirements, and benchmarks.
  • Guide development from materials-property prediction toward reaction-level modeling.
  • Develop customer value propositions and commercialization strategies, including segmentation, packaging, and pricing.
  • Manage strategic partnerships and turn partner needs into product features.
  • Track product and commercial KPIs and recommend build-versus-buy or build-versus-partner decisions.

What we're looking for

  • At least 5 years of product management experience owning technically deep products for external customers.
  • Strong grounding in materials science, catalysis, chemistry, or chemical engineering.
  • Experience shipping AI/ML-driven scientific or engineering software to paying or contracted users.
  • Experience with technical software commercialization, including offer scope, packaging, or pricing.
  • Ability to engage scientific teams and industrial partners and translate their needs into product requirements.
  • Ability to assess and sequence opportunities across multiple markets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience in refining, petrochemicals, emissions control, or energy-transition catalysis.
  • Familiarity with DFT, molecular dynamics, or microkinetic modeling.
  • Semiconductor or electronic-materials process chemistry experience.
  • Knowledge of machine-learned interatomic potentials and model validation.
  • Experience with product-led growth, SaaS, APIs, enterprise security, or compliance.
  • Advanced degree in computational chemistry, chemical engineering, catalysis, or materials science.

Benefits

  • Equity participation and performance-based incentives or bonuses, where applicable.
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees and dependents.
  • Retirement savings with company matching.
  • Paid parental leave and family-building benefits.
  • Flexible paid time off and company-wide seasonal breaks.
