What you'll do
- Manage high-volume purchasing requests, statements of work, change orders, renewals, and purchase orders end to end.
- Coordinate contract, privacy, security, and third-party risk reviews with the appropriate stakeholders.
- Code purchases accurately and maintain purchase orders, receipts, commitments, and accruals for month-end close.
- Partner with Accounts Payable and Accounting to resolve invoice issues and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Support Workplace, Security, and People requesters with purchasing guidance and policy explanations.
- Maintain procurement playbooks and improve workflows through automation and AI.
What we're looking for
- 5–7+ years in procurement operations, purchasing, or vendor operations, including support for Workplace or Facilities, Security, or People teams.
- Experience owning a high-volume purchasing portfolio in a procure-to-pay and intake platform.
- Working knowledge of purchasing-related accrual accounting, service periods, prepaids, capital versus operating spend, and financial coding.
- Experience managing services vendors under master agreements, statements of work, and change orders.
- Experience with facilities, real estate, or construction purchasing, including milestone or progress billing and physical receiving.
- Working knowledge of contract, privacy, security, and financial reviews in the purchasing process.
Nice to have
- Experience with office build-outs, leases, or fixed-asset purchasing, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
- Experience purchasing physical security services or systems.
- Experience with recruiting, contingent workforce, HR, or benefits vendors.
- Accounting, accounts payable, or month-end close experience.
- Direct experience with Zip, Workday Financials, and Ironclad.
- Experience with month-end accruals, open purchase order reconciliation, or tiered intake and approval frameworks.
