Own fintech product initiatives in Mews’ Acquiring domain, from defining problems and prototyping through production launch and iteration. Build payment acceptance, payment-facilitator, and ledger-reporting systems, using AI tools as a core part of the development process.

What you'll do

• Own initiatives end to end, from problem definition and prototyping to production and customer-feedback iteration
• Design and implement payment acceptance, payment-facilitator, and ledger-reporting systems
• Use AI tools to accelerate development and establish reusable practices across the tribe
• Create reusable patterns and coach other Product Builders

What we're looking for

• 7+ years delivering customer-facing software with measurable business outcomes
• Hands-on use of modern AI tooling as a core part of building, with sound engineering judgment
• Experience integrating a payment service provider or acquirer at scale, including APIs, webhooks, idempotency, and reconciliation
• Strong product judgment and experience making product decisions independently

Nice to have

• Startup, founder, or scale-up experience
• Knowledge of card payment lifecycle concepts, including 3DS/SCA, IC++ pricing, chargebacks, and PCI DSS
• Experience in a regulated financial environment, including audit trails and PII handling
