Product Manager - Core Engineering (Security Features)

About this role

Own product strategy and feature development for ClickHouse database security capabilities across the core database and ClickHouse Cloud. Work with customers, the open-source community, and engineering teams to prioritize needs and deliver measurable improvements.

What you'll do

• Analyze real-time analytics and cloud database markets, competitors, and technology trends
• Engage with open-source users and cloud customers to understand use cases and needs
• Prioritize feature requests and issues into product capabilities and improvements
• Work with engineering to scope solutions for the core database and ClickHouse Cloud
• Set measurable customer-success goals and use data to evaluate new capabilities
• Collaborate with partners to grow ClickHouse awareness

What we're looking for

• Experience with database security principles and best practices
• Knowledge of data engineering markets, including warehousing, analytics, security, and observability
• Deep technical experience with ClickHouse or a related OLAP technology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and work through ambiguity
• Willingness to provide technical guidance to customers or community members during proof of concepts

Nice to have

• Product management experience with open-source projects
• Contributions to open-source projects
• Engineering experience with distributed or cloud systems, ideally in C++
• Experience working remotely in a global, distributed organization
