What you'll do
- Reduce the time from developer sign-up to a running production deployment.
- Make CLI and SDKs the primary ways developers and coding agents build on Baseten.
- Unify authoring surfaces across the CLI, console, Truss, and configuration files.
- Improve onboarding, model discovery, first deployment, and deployment error feedback.
- Own deployment lifecycle features such as environment promotion, version history, canary releases, and rollback.
- Improve developer workflows for multi-model apps, multimodal agents, and applications.
- Turn customer deployment and operations friction into product roadmap priorities.
What we're looking for
- 5+ years building developer-facing or technical products as a PM or product-minded engineer.
- Prior engineering experience building and shipping developer tools such as SDKs, CLIs, APIs, or platform surfaces.
- Examples of developer tools or products shipped and owned.
- Strong developer experience instincts across CLI and UI, with examples of simplifying complexity.
- Strong understanding of CLI, API-first, and agent-first design.
- Technical fluency to reason about underlying systems and earn engineers' trust.
- Rigorous customer researcher and relentless shipper.

- Experience with ML infrastructure, developer tools, or API products.
- Hands-on experience deploying and serving models.
