Product Manager - Payments

What you'll do

• Identify opportunities to improve creator earnings and build a focused roadmap.
• Develop gifting experiences for readers and creators.
• Improve subscription retention, renewal, and win-back experiences.
• Make payment journeys more effective across web and mobile.
• Explore new monetization pathways, including commerce.
• Use customer research, data analysis, experiments, and AI-powered prototypes to validate ideas.
• Define success metrics, evaluate experiment results, and follow through after launches.

What we're looking for

• Track record of shipping products that improve customer or business outcomes.
• Strong product judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to make and advocate for clear trade-offs.
• Analytical skills in funnel and cohort analysis, experimentation, and direct investigation.
• Everyday use of AI tools and agents, including rapidly building prototypes.
• Strong design taste and attention to clear, trustworthy financial experiences.
• Clear writing and ability to align cross-functional partners.
• Comfort with ambiguity, limited resources, and hands-on execution.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, subscriptions, growth, commerce, marketplaces, or creator products.
• Familiarity with payment providers and mobile purchase ecosystems.
